Here is a sample answer to IELTS 6 Test 1 task 2 I wrote recently:
How far can you leave the house or even go online before you are bombarded with marketing messages from companies vying for your attention? More importantly, do they even help you make better purchasing decisions? They obviously don’t because advertising’s primary goal is to sell as many products as possible regardless of the consumer’s real needs as seen by their appeal to emotion over logic. Hence, I completely agree with the proposition.
